How to eat across different types of training sessions — easy runs, quality sessions, long runs and rest days.
 
How to match your intake to your training load so you stay healthy and adapt properly.
 
What to do nutritionally when illness or injury disrupts your plan — one of the most overlooked areas of marathon preparation.

How to fuel your long runs so you arrive at race day with a plan that works, not one you've guessed at.

 

Carbohydrate loading — what it actually is and how to do it properly.

 

Race week nutrition, race morning, and fuelling during the race. What to take, when to take it, and how to make sure your gut cooperates on the day.

Who this is for

This course is for runners training for a marathon — whether that's your first or your fifth. You don't need any prior nutrition knowledge. You'll leave with a personalised framework you can apply immediately to your training.

Suitable for: London, Manchester, Yorkshire, Berlin, Chicago, Amsterdam, Valencia, Dublin and all other road marathons.
